ZoomInfo vs LinkedIn Sales Navigator (2026): Exportable Verified Contacts or Working Inside LinkedIn

Publish date: Nov 4, 2026
Pick ZoomInfo if your SDR team has 10 or more seats and spends the day in a dialer and an email sequencer. Pick Sales Navigator if your sellers work named accounts inside LinkedIn with InMail, saved searches and alerts.
The whole ZoomInfo vs LinkedIn Sales Navigator question rests on one fact. ZoomInfo sells contact data you can export. LinkedIn offers no CSV or XLS export of the leads you find in Navigator.
A team under 10 seats that needs contact data does best on Navigator Core plus a per-lead data source. The exception is a team that would use most of a ZoomInfo credit pool. An enterprise team that needs CRM sync and contact data ends up running both. ZoomInfo's own comparison page says many customers do.

ZoomInfo vs LinkedIn Sales Navigator: data and exports
Sales Navigator finds the person; ZoomInfo gives you a way to reach them outside LinkedIn. An SDR lead at a company of 20 to 50 staff put it in one sentence in a Spona interview: “I can find the right person, but I still need a usable work email for our outreach workflow.”
LinkedIn's own help pages draw the line. Sales Navigator has no option to export account or lead information to a CSV or XLS file. The only way out is CRM Sync, which needs Advanced Plus. Even then, a contact created from Navigator arrives with first name, last name, job title and country filled in; email and phone stay blank.
On the Salesforce and Dynamics lead form, email and phone are optional fields your rep types by hand. No Navigator plan lists email or phone data.
ZoomInfo says its database holds 500 million contacts and 100 million companies. It also claims over 200 million verified business emails. Those are ZoomInfo's figures, not an audit.
The Professional plan includes mobile numbers and business email, and every export to a CSV file or an application costs one credit. Navigator still wins at finding the person: its 50 or more search filters run on profiles that members write themselves.
ZoomInfo vs Sales Navigator: daily workflow
The Bridge Group surveyed 351 sales organizations and found a median of 112 SDR activities a day. Of those, 44 are phone calls and 41 are emails. LinkedIn touches account for 19. So 85 of the 112 daily touches need a phone number or an email address, and Navigator supplies neither.
ZoomInfo's Professional plan includes intelligent dialing, a Chrome extension and a mobile app. Copilot Advanced adds export of emails to Outreach or Salesloft, buyer intent signals and website visitors. An SDR can research, export and dial from one ZoomInfo login.
Sales Navigator runs the 19 LinkedIn touches well. Every plan carries 50 InMails a month. Navigator also has saved searches and alerts for job changes and posts. An account executive working 40 named accounts gets more from those alerts than from a dialer.
On 21 of 371 discovery and evaluation calls Spona recorded, buyers raised this objection: “Our reps do their research in Sales Navigator.”
Our response was to take the profiles those reps had already selected as the test set for exportable contact data.
ZoomInfo vs Sales Navigator: price per seat
LinkedIn publishes Navigator prices and ZoomInfo does not. Core costs US$119.99 a month or US$1,079.88 a year per license. Advanced costs US$159.99 a month or US$1,799.88 a year, and Advanced Plus has no list price. LinkedIn calls these prices estimates that may exclude VAT.
You can buy up to five Advanced licenses online; more means a sales call. Our LinkedIn Sales Navigator pricing post breaks down each plan.
ZoomInfo's pricing page lists no figures; price depends on features, the number of licenses and credit usage. Vendr's buyers report a median contract of $33,500 a year across 1,578 purchases. The range runs from $7,247 to $156,032. Our ZoomInfo pricing guide has the detail.
Spona's team heard these six price lines on sales calls. They are yearly team totals in USD, after the stated discount and before tax.
| Tool and plan | Seats recorded | What the price covered | Yearly total | Discount | Quoted or paid |
| ZoomInfo SalesOS | 5 | 12,000 export credits a year | $17,349 | 4.7% | Quoted |
| ZoomInfo SalesOS | 6 | 12,000 export credits a year | $17,940 | 6.3% | Paid, invoice seen |
| ZoomInfo SalesOS | 7 | 12,000 export credits a year | $19,414 | 11.6% | Quoted |
| Sales Navigator Advanced | 4 | Profile search and InMail allowance | $5,738 | 10.8% | Quoted |
| Sales Navigator Advanced | 5 | Profile search and InMail allowance | $5,691 | 14.1% | Paid, invoice seen |
| Sales Navigator Advanced | 6 | Profile search and InMail allowance | $5,065 | 5.5% | Quoted |
Per seat, the ZoomInfo quotes work out at $2,773 to $3,470 a year. Per export credit, that is $1.45 to $1.62 if the team spends every credit. We give no per-seat figure for the Navigator lines. The seat counts in those records conflict with the quote text, so we quote team totals only.
A worked example, our calculation on list prices and one recorded quote. A five-rep team on Navigator Core pays $5,399.40 a year at list. Say it needs 500 new contacts a month, each with email and mobile. On Spona's Standard Search that is 17,500 to 27,500 credits a month.
Each new search session costs another 1,000 credits. That still fits the Premium plan at $375 a month billed yearly, or $4,500 a year. The pair costs $9,899.40 against the recorded five-seat ZoomInfo quote of $17,349.

ZoomInfo's plans also include a dialer, and Copilot Advanced adds intent data and the sequencer export. A team that spends all 12,000 credits pays for what it uses. At half use, the five-seat quote costs $2.89 a contact, and per-lead buying can beat that.
ZoomInfo vs Sales Navigator: contracts and renewals
Four things to check before you sign either contract.
- What you lose when you cancel Navigator. Saved leads, saved accounts and messages go as soon as you cancel. The cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing cycle, and a returning user starts over with a new account. Push your notes into the CRM first.
- Annual terms. On annual Navigator plans, cancellation applies at the end of the paid year. The free trial goes only to members with no paid plan and no trial in the past 365 days.
- Who can cancel. On Advanced and Advanced Plus, only an admin can cancel or change billing. Name that admin before a rep leaves.
- ZoomInfo's renewal terms live in your order form. ZoomInfo's license terms page shows no renewal clause we can quote, so read your own paperwork. On two of the three ZoomInfo quotes Spona heard, auto-renewal was on. The paid one carried an 8.7% uplift at renewal; the paid Navigator invoice carried 5.6%.
Can you use ZoomInfo and Sales Navigator together?
Yes, and ZoomInfo expects it: its comparison page says many customers run Sales Navigator alongside ZoomInfo. The same page gives Navigator the LinkedIn graph and InMail, and ZoomInfo verified contact data. ZoomInfo's ReachOut extension shows that data on any site, including LinkedIn and your CRM, and each export spends a credit.
Two cautions. LinkedIn's User Agreement bans browser extensions that scrape its pages. Users who run them risk having their accounts restricted or shut down. We do not judge which extensions comply; check yours against that rule.
And you pay for both. Ten reps on Navigator Core cost $10,798.80 a year at list. Add the Vendr median ZoomInfo contract of $33,500, and our rough total is $44,298.80.
Two deals in Spona's win-loss records named both tools as the competition. One was an agency owner at a US company of 1 to 9 staff. The other ran sales operations at a UK company of 250 or more. Both bought Spona for the same recorded reason, verified coverage.
Both said the same thing: “We found the right people in the territory we actually sell to.”
Spona as the per-lead option, and its limits
Spona's answer to a ZoomInfo customer is a test, not a pitch. Take the same 100 target accounts, deduplicate against the CRM, and count the verified contacts the incumbent did not have.
A VP Sales at a company of 100 to 500 staff gave us the objection that test answers: “We already pay for ZoomInfo. Show me the relevant accounts or contacts we cannot reach today.”
| Test against ZoomInfo | Accounts already in CRM | ZoomInfo contacts | Spona verified contacts | New after dedupe | Prep time | Cost per usable record |
| First | 66 | 268 | 392 | 146 | 8 minutes | $0.38 |
| Second | 71 | 301 | 421 | 153 | 10 minutes | $0.42 |
| Third | 82 | 325 | 448 | 151 | 12 minutes | $0.44 |
A usable record here is a named decision maker with a verified work email or direct dial. “New” means absent from the CRM and the ZoomInfo export after deduplication on email and LinkedIn URL. The costs exclude labour and the ZoomInfo subscription. Three tests are a small sample, and the account pools may overlap.
The outcomes split three ways: one team kept ZoomInfo and added Spona, one planned a seat reduction, and one pushed the decision to its renewal.
How Spona works: you describe your ideal customer in a chat. The AI mines 40 or more sources, verifies every lead and delivers a scored list in about 4 minutes. You pay per lead, in credits, plus a one-time 1,000 credits for each new search session. Every search starts with a free sample.
Standard Search costs $0.024 to $0.07 a lead for an email. With a mobile number it costs $0.28 to $0.55. Paid plans run from Pro at $99 a month to Expert at $999. Enterprise starts at $20,000 a year.
In the Navigator Core plus per-lead setup, Spona's Targeted Search does the lookup. It is a chat-style Chrome extension for looking up specific contacts. A verified work email costs 13 credits, a mobile number 88. In dollars, an email is $0.10 to $0.13 by plan.
Our calculation: 1,000 work emails cost 13,000 credits. At Spona's credit prices that is $104 to $130. One Navigator Core seat costs $1,079.88 a year and exports none. We do not rule on whether any extension, ours included, meets LinkedIn's rule; have legal read it before reps install anything.
Where Spona does not fit: it has no InMail and no LinkedIn relationship data, so it replaces neither tool's research layer. It has no dialer, and AI calling remains announced, not available. The native CRM integration is HubSpot only, on Premium and Expert, and Salesforce takes a CSV import. There is no website visitor identification, the API is on Expert only, and unused credits expire at the start of each billing period.
A 10-seat SDR team that dials all day still gets more from one ZoomInfo login than from Navigator plus Spona plus a separate dialer.

ZoomInfo vs LinkedIn Sales Navigator FAQ
Is ZoomInfo better than LinkedIn Sales Navigator?
For SDR teams of 10 or more that dial and sequence, ZoomInfo: it exports the emails and direct dials those tools need. For sellers working named accounts inside LinkedIn, Sales Navigator, because InMail, saved searches and alerts are its product. Under 10 seats, take Navigator Core plus per-lead data unless you would use most of a ZoomInfo credit pool. Enterprise teams that need CRM sync and contact data end up with both.
Does Sales Navigator give email addresses?
No plan lists email or phone data. A contact created through CRM Sync on Advanced Plus arrives with name, title and country, and email and phone stay blank.
Can you export leads from Sales Navigator?
Not to a file. LinkedIn's help says there is no option to export account or lead information to CSV or XLS. The alternative is CRM Sync to Salesforce, Dynamics or HubSpot, on Advanced Plus only.
How much does ZoomInfo cost compared with Sales Navigator?
Navigator Core lists at US$1,079.88 a year per license and Advanced at US$1,799.88. ZoomInfo has no list price. Vendr's buyers report a median of $33,500 a year. The quotes Spona heard ran from $17,349 for five seats to $19,414 for seven.
Is Sales Navigator worth it?
For a seller who works a named account list on LinkedIn, yes. Core costs US$1,079.88 a year, and the alerts, saved searches and 50 InMails a month run on LinkedIn's own profiles. A team that needs exportable emails and phones needs a data source beside it.
Is ZoomInfo worth the money?
For a team that spends the credits and dials every day, the Vendr median of $33,500 buys data and workflow tools in one login. At half use, the recorded quotes work out at $2.89 to $3.24 a contact, and per-lead data wins. Our ZoomInfo reviews round-up has the detail, and the ZoomInfo alternatives post lists the options.
Is ZoomInfo outdated?
G2 reviewers tag ZoomInfo with “Outdated Data” 232 times, the same count as “Inaccurate Data”. Its overall rating there holds at 4.5 out of five.
