Instantly Pricing 2026: Growth vs Hypergrowth, Lead Credits and Hidden Costs

Instantly pricing guide: Growth vs Hypergrowth plans, lead credits, hidden costs and a Spona comparison

Instantly's cheapest sending plan costs $47 a month, but a team that also wants its lead database and its CRM pays $141 a month on monthly billing, because Instantly sells those as three separate subscriptions. Instantly.ai is a cold email platform that also sells lead finding, verification and AI agents. This guide reads the live Instantly pricing page and help center, works out what a lead credit costs per record, lists the costs the pricing page leaves out, and prices the same 1,000-lead list on Instantly credits and on Spona's per-lead model.

Instantly pricing in one decision: which plan do you actually need?

Instantly has four pricing tabs (Bundles, Outreach, Instantly Credits and VIP), a yearly toggle, and help-center prices the main page does not show. Two questions settle most of it: how many contacts will you upload in total, and do you need Instantly to find the leads or only to send to them?

Your situationWhat to buyMonthlyYearly, per month
One person, your own list, under 5,000 emails a monthOutreach Growth$47$37.60
A small team with its own list, up to 25,000 contactsOutreach Hypergrowth$97$77.60
You need leads and sending, up to 1,000 contactsStarter bundle (Growth + Growth Credits)$94$85
100,000 emails and about 5,000 leads a monthScale bundle (Hypergrowth + Supersonic Credits)$194$175
Agency sending 500,000 emails a month with private IPsAgency bundle (Light Speed + Hyper Credits)$555$500
Lead data only, exported to another toolGrowth Credits$47$37.60

Prices exclude tax, mailboxes and domains.

The contact figure matters more than the email figure: Instantly's help center says the upload limit "does not reset monthly", so a Growth subscriber who uploads 1,000 leads in month one has used the whole allowance, and there is no overage charge, only an upgrade. Data-only buyers can upload only 250 leads to Instantly campaigns without an Outbound plan. In Spona sales conversations, the Instantly setups we hear about are three users sharing one workspace on Growth or Hypergrowth, with data credits bought separately.

Instantly Outreach pricing: Growth, Hypergrowth and Light Speed plans

Every Outreach tier includes unlimited email accounts, unlimited warmup, scheduling, analytics, bounce detection and API access; the yearly toggle takes 20% off. Instantly's agency pricing post lists Growth at $37 a month; the pricing page shows $37.60 only on yearly billing.

Instantly pricing: Growth $47, Hypergrowth $97 and Light Speed $358 a month, with email and contact limits

Note on Hypergrowth: the plan card and the help center say 125,000 emails a month; the page's comparison table, FAQ and Scale bundle card still say 100,000. Webhooks, full Unibox replies and the Deliverability AI Agent start at Hypergrowth. Light Speed adds SISR, "dedicated/private server and IP blocks" in Instantly's words, for $261 a month more. The Outbound add-on ($87 a month, Hypergrowth and Light Speed only) adds 25,000 contacts and 125,000 emails and stacks, per the add-on pricing article: a team with 30,000 contacts pays $184 a month (Hypergrowth plus one add-on) or $358 for Light Speed.

Instantly lead finder pricing: what one credit buys

Instantly's lead finder (SuperSearch in the product, "Instantly Credits" on the pricing page) is a separate subscription, and the same credits pay for enrichment, verification, website visitors and the AI agents. The pricing page shows three tiers; the help center's credit system article shows all twelve.

Credits planMonthly priceCredits a monthPrice per credit1,000 verified emails (1 to 2 credits each)
Nano$9150$0.060$60 to $120

EnterpriseCustom200,000+CustomCustom

Per-credit and per-1,000 figures are our arithmetic on the published prices. The help center promises 10% off yearly with all credits upfront, but the page shows Growth Credits at $37.60 yearly (20% off), so yearly Growth Outreach plus Growth Credits ($75.20) undercuts the yearly Starter bundle ($85).

Instantly lead finder pricing: what 1,000 verified emails cost on each credits plan, from $8.50 to $120

From the same help article: a verified work email costs 1 credit when Instantly finds it, 2 credits from a data partner, and nothing when none is found; Instantly's own cost-per-lead post says many teams model 1.5 credits per lead. An enriched profile (title, company, location) is 0.5 credits; job listings, technologies, news and funding 0.5 each; verifying an email you already have 0.25; AI Reply Agent 5 per generated reply; AI Sales Agent 5 per generated lead; Website Visitors 3 per resolved profile. Monthly credits expire two months after purchase if unused, annual credits after a year. The database is generic (450M+ contacts): Salesforge, a competitor, pulled 200 SuperSearch leads in a 30-day test and reported about 85% verification accuracy, the rest bouncing or invalid. One sample; test your own market with the trial's 100 free credits.

Instantly bundles, CRM, website visitors and add-on pricing

The Bundles tab repackages Outreach and Credits at the same monthly price with a 10% yearly discount. The CRM, inbox placement tests, website visitor identification and done-for-you mailboxes are priced in the help center and Instantly's blog, not on the pricing page.

One warning: the Scale card lists its components as "Hypergrowth Plan $358/mo" and "Supersonic Credits $197/mo", the Light Speed and Hyper Credits prices pasted into the wrong card; the Hypergrowth card, the comparison table and the help center show $97 for each, which add up to $194.

Instantly hidden costs: mailboxes, domains, caps and the no-refund clause

The $47 headline is the smallest line on a real Instantly bill. Check these five before you budget:

  1. Mailboxes and domains. Instantly's cold email strategy guide recommends 3 to 5 accounts per domain, 30 to 50 emails a day per account and two weeks of warmup; its example for 1,000 emails a day is 10 domains and 30 accounts. At Instantly's prices that is $150 to $300 a month for accounts plus $150 a year for domains; at Google Workspace's $7 per user per month it is $210 a month.
  2. Google's bulk sender rules. Senders of 5,000 or more messages a day to Gmail must authenticate with SPF, DKIM and DMARC, offer one-click unsubscribe and keep the spam rate in Postmaster Tools below 0.30%; Google recommends staying below 0.10%.
  3. The contact cap. A fixed total across all campaigns, not a monthly allowance; Growth's 1,000 is one list. Deleting leads or campaigns frees space; nothing resets it.
  4. Credits that expire. Two months on monthly plans, a year on annual, and the AI agents charge 5 credits for every reply or lead they generate.
  5. Terms. Instantly's terms make all fees "non-refundable and non-cancellable", with no partial or prorated refunds; plans renew automatically at the then-current price, and unused credits are lost on cancellation. Trustpilot shows Instantly's rating as "unavailable due to a breach of our guidelines" and notes that fake reviews have been removed; 26% of its 1,178 reviews are one-star, and several recent ones describe charges after a cancellation or plan change.

Is Instantly free to use? Trial, free credits and the free plan question

Instantly has no permanent free plan. The 14-day trial needs no card and is capped at 250 uploaded contacts, 1,000 emails and 100 data credits; the verification and website visitors pages each add 25 free credits. Test SuperSearch on your exact ICP with those credits.

Instantly alternatives

Which alternative fits depends on which half of Instantly you are replacing. For sending, lemlist, Smartlead, Woodpecker and Saleshandy price by seat or by volume rather than by workspace; our lemlist alternatives and email prospecting tools guides compare them. For data, Apollo bundles a database with a sequencer per user, ZoomInfo sells annual contracts, and Spona sells leads one at a time, compared below.

Instantly vs Spona: where Spona fits, and where it does not

Instantly and Spona overlap on one thing: a list of verified people to email. Instantly sells it as credits inside a sending platform; Spona sells it per lead with no sending plan attached. You describe your ideal customer in a chat, Spona's AI mines 40+ sources, verifies every lead and delivers a scored list with the reason behind each match in about 4 minutes. Qualified leads cost $0.32 to $4 each, bulk leads $0.01 to $0.09, plus 1,000 setup credits ($8 to $10) per new ideal customer profile; a free plan returns sample leads first.

Instantly lead credits vs Spona per-lead pricing: 1,000 leads, one ICP

The ICP is one Spona can count: owners and partners at US accounting firms with 10 to 49 staff, a segment where Spona data holds 15,000 companies and 38,000 verified contacts across all roles. Assumptions are labeled; both columns exclude mailboxes, domains and tax.

LineInstantly (credits + sending)Spona (leads) + Instantly sending
Data for 1,000 verified contactsGrowth Credits $47 if every email is found by Instantly (1,000 credits of 1,500); Growth 2 at $77 if they come from partners at 2 credits each (assumption: Instantly's own 1.5-credit modeling average lands between)Bulk leads: $10 to $90. Qualified, scored leads: $320 to $4,000 (the range depends on the research each lead needs; a sample shows the price before you order)

Month two with the same ICP500 unused credits expire after two months; a second 1,000-lead list needs Hypergrowth ($97) because Growth's 1,000-contact cap does not reset (unless you delete the first list)Order the next batch in the same per-lead range, no new setup credits; Spona add-on credits expire with the billing cycle
Instantly credits vs Spona per-lead pricing for 1,000 leads in one ICP: month-one totals and cost per lead

On price per record, Instantly's credits beat Spona's qualified leads by a wide margin and sit in the same range as Spona's bulk leads. Instantly wins for thousands of broadly filtered contacts; Spona wins when the list is narrow and you would rather pay $328 for 1,000 leads you will actually email than $47 in credits for a broader list you then filter yourself. One recorded reason buyers gave for choosing Spona, in their words, from a Head of Sales at a 20 to 50 person company: "We wanted a small list that matched our niche, with a reason for every match."

Where Spona fits: precision (one chat brief covers industry, headcount, country, role, technology and funding), time to value (a scored list in about 4 minutes, price shown before you buy), measurable verification (of 10,000 US candidate addresses checked, 78% passed, 14% were catch-all and 8% were rejected, and 1.5% of 5,000 verified addresses sent to hard bounced; not the same measurement as a competitor's 85% on 200 Instantly leads, see our B2B data validation guide), and pricing (pay per lead, starting from a free plan; add-on credits expire with the billing cycle; 5% to 20% plan discounts on add-on credits, 8% for annual billing; see lead generation pricing models).

Where it does not: Spona does not send email, warm up inboxes or rotate IPs, so it does not replace Instantly Outreach, and delivery is CSV or API with no confirmed native Instantly connector. Buying a B2B list does not grant permission to email it; establish a lawful basis for personal data processing, meet transparency and objection duties, and follow the recipient country's electronic marketing rules, including prior consent where required. For a broad, high-volume list where every record will be emailed, Instantly's Supersonic credits ($0.019 to $0.039 per verified email) compete with Spona's bulk leads ($0.01 to $0.09). Run the same 1,000-contact brief through both, deduplicate against your CRM, and count how many records each one lets you email.

Instantly pricing FAQ

The software is legal; what matters is how you email. In the United States the CAN-SPAM Act covers commercial email with no exception for business-to-business email: no false headers or deceptive subject lines, a physical address, an opt-out honored within 10 business days, and penalties of up to $53,088 per email in violation.

Is Instantly.ai worth it?

Yes when the problem is sending, not finding: per-workspace pricing with unlimited email accounts means a team running 30 inboxes pays $97 a month where per-user tools charge per seat, and it holds 4.8 out of 5 from 4,161 G2 reviews. It is a weaker buy if you need a LinkedIn step (Instantly is email-only), a CRM of record, or a narrow list, because unused monthly credits expire. A sending team with its own data pays about $230 to $380 a month (Hypergrowth on annual billing plus mailboxes) before the first email; our cold email statistics show what it should return.

Does Instantly charge per user or per seat?

No. Outreach plans are priced per workspace with unlimited email accounts and team invitations on every tier, and the CRM add-on includes unlimited seats. Three people sharing one Hypergrowth workspace pay $97 a month in total.

How does Instantly pricing differ from Apollo's per-user plans?

Apollo sells a database and a sequencer together, priced per user with pooled credits that reset each billing cycle; its pricing page lists Free, Basic, Professional and Custom tiers without readable prices, so see our Apollo.io pricing guide. Instantly sells sending and data as separate subscriptions per workspace, so a three-person team pays Instantly once and Apollo three times.

How many mailboxes per domain does Instantly recommend?

A maximum of 3 to 5 accounts per domain, 30 to 50 emails a day from each, and at least two weeks of warmup, per Instantly's cold email strategy guide. Warmup is included on every Outreach plan; the mailboxes and domains are not.

How do I cancel an Instantly subscription, and is there a refund?

Cancel through the billing settings inside your account; the terms say correspondence to support "does not constitute notice of cancellation". Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, all fees are non-refundable with no partial or prorated refunds, unused credits are lost, and a cancelled monthly plan cannot be re-subscribed for 21 days.

How much does Instantly cost per year?

On annual billing: Growth $451.20, Hypergrowth $931.20, Light Speed $3,435.60; Growth Credits $451.20, Supersonic $1,047.60, Hyper $2,127.60; the Starter, Scale and Agency bundles $1,020, $2,100 and $6,000. Mailboxes for 1,000 emails a day add $1,800 to $3,600 a year at Instantly's prices, plus $150 in domains.
